The Jim Bennett Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of lecturer, Jim Bennett, by his colleagues, friends, and family. The Department of Tourism, Conventions, and Event Management (TCEM) awards the Jim Bennett Scholarship to a student from Ivy Tech Community College who is pursuing a degree in TCEM. Currently, it is awarded in $1,000 increments to Ivy Tech’s hospitality administration students admitted in the TCEM program striving to complete their bachelor’s degree.
The Stergiopolous family was close to Mr. Bennett. They are hosting this fundraiser in his memory. The charitable portion of your gift will be directed to his scholarship, helping students that Mr. Bennett loved and demonstrated to be his life’s calling.
