A Night on the Prairie – Classical Mystery Tour
Imagine The Beatles playing classic favorites such as "Yesterday," "Penny Lane," and "I Am the Walrus" live and in concert with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Imagine yourself sipping your favorite beverage while enjoying the critically acclaimed Classical Mystery Tour as they present some 30 Beatles tunes sung, played, and performed exactly as they were written with a live trumpet section, acoustic guitar, and string quartet from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Save the date and plan on joining Central Indiana alumni for a night on the Prairie, Saturday, August 1, 2009. Be sure to get there early to have the opportunity to sample some unique wines from our friends at Cork and Cracker North (www.corkandcrackernorth.com) before the music starts. Bring your favorite beverage, snacks, and folding chairs. $16 for IUAA members (Limit 2 member price tickets per membership) $20 for non-members and guests $45 for one ticket and a one-year IUAA membership. $11 for Children 2 - 11 (Under 2 free) Tickets purchased before July 24 will be mailed out to those who register. Those who register after July 24 will find their tickets at will call.

IU School of Medicine Alumni Day at the Ft. Wayne TinCaps
Join Indiana University School of Medicine alumni, faculty, staff, and students at the new Parkview Field to watch your Ft. Wayne TinCaps take on the Dayton Dragons on Sunday, August 16. The Treetops Rooftop Party Area will provide comfortable seating for guests with an exciting Wrigley Rooftop bird's eye experience for alumni and their families. Sunday, August 16, 2009 2:45 pm; first pitch 3:05 pm Ticket price includes your game ticket and complimentary grilled hot dogs, burgers, brats, chicken breast, rib tips, pulled pork, a variety of sides, dessert, sodas, and Miller Light. $15 for IU Alumni Association members and Faculty/Staff of Ft. Wayne Center (Limit 2 member price tickets per membership) $25 for non-members of the IUAA and guests $10 for medical students $10 for Children (age 7 and under) $45 for a one-year IUAA Membership (includes one ticket to the game) $29 for non-IU alumni Ticket prices are partially underwritten through the generosity of Parkview Hospital. Tickets purchased before August 7 will be mailed out to those who pre-register. Those who register after August 7 will find their tickets at will call.

The purpose of this event is for students to have an opportunity to meet classmates and professors in a casual atmosphere. Sponsored by the School of Engineering and Technology and the School of Science Alumni Associations Students must pre-register by filling out the form below or calling 278-1720 to attend this event. School of Engineering and Technology Student Scholarship Golf Classic
The E&T Alumni Association is proud to host the 7th annual Purdue School of Engineering and Technology Student Scholarship Golf Classic on Friday, September 18 at Saddlebrook Golf Course. We hope you will be able to join us for this great event as we raise money to support IUPUI students pursuing a degree from the School of Engineering and Technology. There are a number of opportunities for you to support our scholarship, including corporate and hole sponsorships, playing in the tournament, or sponsoring a student to participate! Presented by the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI, Alumni Association. A constituent group of the Purdue Alumni Association, a dues supported organization.
IUPUI Regatta
The Student Organization for Alumni Relations, the IUPUI Alumni Council, and the Central Indiana Chapter of the IUAA are hosting the inaugural IUPUI Regatta, a canoe relay race on the Downtown Canal. Students, alumni, and faculty/staff are invited and encouraged to form teams to participate in this new campus event, which will feature a community carnival with fun, food, and music. Teams will race against others in their respective categories, culminating in a final race between students, alumni, and faculty/staff with winners receiving bragging rights and a spot on the IUPUI Regatta Cup trophy.
