The IUPUI Alumni Council and the Student Organization for Alumni Relations will recognize the school's top 100 juniors and seniors during the 2009 IUPUI Outstanding Student Recognition Dinner, on Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.

Students will be recognized for scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities on campus, and civic and community service. During the dinner, the most outstanding female student and the most outstanding male student will be announced, as well as the top 10 female and top 10 male students. A panel of alumni, faculty and staff will select the top students based on nominations by faculty and staff.

Deadline for nominations is: January 27, 2009.

Table Sponsorship Opportunities

This year schools and departments have an opportunity to become an official "Table Sponsor" at the IUPUI Top 100 dinner. You can fill your table with faculty and staff or give seats back to us to use for your school's Top 100 students and their families.

Table sponsors will receive:

  • 10 seats at the dinner on April 3, 2009
  • Recognition in the Commemorative Program being handed out at the dinner
  • An invitation to attend a special "Pre-function" reception with our keynote speaker, Vice Admiral Adam Robinson.
  • Table signs with school or department name
The cost of a  table sponsorship is $500 and individual seats are $30.

Nomination Process:

Eligible students are undergraduate degree-seeking juniors and seniors with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 who have completed a minimum of 56 credit hours applicable to her/his degree program; 25 or more of those hours must have been completed at the Indianapolis campus as of the Fall 08 semester.

Successful candidates for this award will have experience and/or performance in three categories:

  • Scholastic achievement
  • Collegiate and co-curricular activities
  • Civic/community service

December 2008 graduates are NOT eligible.

Students can only receive this award once as a junior and once as a senior.
